APCG 493 Work Progress Week 4 February 2/14/14

This is the 4th week work progress model that I have continued working on. I deleted a lot of edge loops and unnecessary geometry. I've also refix some of my character's geometry alignments and topology. I've also modeled my Chun Li model towards the goal of a 7k or lower poly count PS2 game character.

I reworked the topology and edge flow on my character's face and head. I managed to get rid of some triangle geometry and put in polygons. The eyes took me the longest as usual and I had to manipulate them for while before getting the desired look that I wanted and I had to add more edge loops to them. I'm pleased that I was able to reshape the face better than my last model.

Here on the upper body, I did the same thing I did for the head and cleared out a lot of useless edge loops, geometry, and triangles as much as I could. I added more edge loops to the body because it needed more detail. It turned out okay.

I also did the same here too for the lower body. I got rid of the triangles on the legs and added polygon edge loops to keep the geometry and workflow neater. Since the legs had very little edge and edge flow for details I added more edge loops for more detail. I didn't model the feet and instead model a shoe.

This is a the full body view and the outlines of my workflow and topology. It looks fine at the moment and I still see other places in the model that need a bit of tweeking still but it looks fine. I also managed to keep it below 7k poly count.
